Legal value of police

The question related to a criminal investigation by police in which a decoy operation was undertaken.99% of the case is built by the IO without any corroborative evidence.The only neutral evidence is by decoy,that too without corroborative evidence.The decoy has a monetary incentive for a successful operation. To increase the gravity of the case the group of investigators gave non-corroborative evidence. What is the legal value of police evidence? What is the legal value of decoy evidence?
