Contract Labour

Dear friends

A retired person was employed on  contract basis in a firm. After the contractual time his employment terminated. Now he filed a case before Labour court that the employer did not pay him the Minimum wages and he is claiming compensation under Minimum wages Act. Will his claim  stand in the eye of law ?

yes his claim for wages will sustain under law,,,,as ur friend has got statutory guarantee to receive minimum wages,,,,and by no means of imagination that can b denied to him.
