cheque

I gave rupees ₹50000 to a person, he gave me cheque without date

now he says he don't have money

can I deposit cheque

if deposited it will bounce

can I win the case

or simply leave it

If cheques bounced u have two remidy. One filing civil suit with in three yrs.two criminal case.both takes time.

Cheque bouncing a serious offence, its a win win if you get cheque in some consideration. Civil remedy also there but 138 Negotiable instrument Act criminal so its take less time.
