It is better to reply the notice with complete facts,still however if you are joined as party to the suit and if you can show that there is no cause of action against you and you have been implicated malafidely,you can apply for deleting you as party alongwith the cost.

The best way is to reply with a short and crisp notice that you dont have anything whatsoever dealing with the other party and also give the person a warning that you are liable to take action against him for fraudulently implicating you in the matter.

Deny the allegations in the notice completely. Add that you do not know anything about it. Also warn him if you are made an unnecessary party in the suit ,in spite of your denial he will be liable for cost and consequences.
