Woman cell call for counciling

caw cell called for counciling , i didnt receive any notice , is it optional or compulsory ? can i ask for written notice ? consequence for non attending counciling ? my brother in law is giving warnings to put worn cases as he is head kanistable ? but i dont have record of threatning , i have only my wife threatning and scoldings in whats app , pls advise how to proceed ?

you should go for councelling although it is optional but you should go otherwise they will inform the concerned police station and they may register an FIR on that basis.
moreover if you don't go then you will face problems in getting anticipatory bail if you apply in future.
