May I get a stay order from High court to stop FDP case

Hi All,
Recently I have filed a appealed case in the high court.but based on district Court judgment my sister filed a FDP case in taluk court. in this partition case is this possible to get a stay order from the high Court to stop this FDP case?
please suggest me regarding this.

Have you discussed this issue with your lawyer who filed the Appeal in the High Court on yourr behalf?

yes I had discussed with our lawyer, but he said that right now is not possible to take stay order & one more other lawyer said that this is possible, so I am confusing
