Pedhinama

I got a residential flat in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, through my parents. I am the only son and no other brother or sister. I have got my name in the local city survey after submitting all required papers and share certificate of the society. Is it necessary to fill up the form of Pedhi nama? Please guide.
