Emi Related issue

Hai, I am Amit Dey from West Bengal i have purchagesd a two wheelar in september 2016 fin by a finanical company. Loan tenure was 3 years, till date 17 emis are paid including running month & 4 emis are pending. I have previously talked with collection agent about my dues & we have a verbal agreement that he will call me & collect my previous dues 1in a month, so by 4 month my dues will be cleard. But suddenly i got a call from company that there is a leagal notice on my name that either i havr to pay all my dues at a time or i have to surrender my byk, but its very dificult for me to clear all my dues in one month. So if i got a leagal notice what can i do?
