Image copyright law

I am owner of this website. I have one question which is the given below.

I am using images from other websites without their prior written permission. Is it okay legally? Would I face any legal copyrights claim in the court of law? Please guide me.

Thanks in advance.

Creators of original works have complete control over their use and distribution thanks to copyrights. The Indian Copyright Act 1957 provides protection for photographs as artistic works under Section 2 (c). Copyright protects photographs as artistic works.  You must obtain permission from the original author before using the material. It is important to obtain permission before using a photo, especially if it has been modified. A small chance exists that the photo will be free for educational purposes.
