My father entered into agreement with a buyer. In the agreement it was stated that posession of land would be given in one month. However, it did not happened and my father passed away before the execution of agreement. I created a new agreement which shows that i am in the possesion of land. Now, Tax authoritiesmay ask me for a tax on advance as land was mentioned as to be given. I got zamabandi docs also which stated the possesor of land as me.
What is the appropriate document for tax authorities in case I want ti showthat land wa not given for possesion? I cannot ask buyers as they wont give an affidavite for such.
