Consumer court

Please advise if we can file complaint in Consumer Forum against Jaypee Infratech Limited towards on delivery of flats and recovery of amount. As we have already submitted a claim under corporate Insolvency resolution process.

There is no bar to approaching a consumer forum but since RERA is a special Act and particularly set up to protect the interest of homebuyers, a consumer would be advised to approach the adjudicating officer.
Hence, any aggrieved person can approach either the Regulatory Authority under RERA or appropriate consumer forum (for matters covered under RERA).
