Purchase of Agricultural land

Hi,

I am Ravishankar from Bangalore.

I am interested to buy agricultural land for the purpose of growing certain cash crops between B'lore & Mysore. I am not an agriculturist and I would like to state that, my mother had few acres of agricultural land near Doddaballapur and the same was sold few years back.

Will I be eligible to buy agricultural land on my mother's land records such as RTC (FORM 16), Mutation Register copy, Patta book etc.

Pl give ur valuable suggestions in this regard at the earliest.

Yes you are eligible for purchase of agrl., land because your mother had an agrl., land, so it amounts you are from agrl., family.

I think, apart from being a agriculturalist, income cealing of Rs.200000/- also has to be satisfied in Karnataka. Alternatively, you can buy by getting premission from the DC/AC of the concerned jurisdiction.
