Marriage

I'm 24+ and whom I'll do marriage is 22+ and we've decided to do marriage. But my family is consent with my decision but the bride's family is not agree with our decision. They says that they could not do give marriage both of us with various unusual reasons. If I'll do marriage and after that we surrender at police station and give our statement with proof, and as of we are Bangali so if I do marriage at a temple and after that we do our marriage registration. Is it the way to protect me and my family from harassment from bride's family and live peacefully without any Police and IPC law and order problem. Please help me in my need. It is very urgent. And also suggest me what steps we've to follow.
