Change of house number before registration by pen

i have got to purchase a house, actually every where the house number is menctioned correctly, byt in property annexure one digit is typed wrongly, so he had corrected that one digit in house number by pen and then the vendor signed aganist that mistake. after all this pen correction the document undergone for registration process. now my question is Is this process of correction is good or not, is it law ful or not, will this create any future problems.
