Property owner

Hi ,
I'm currently defending myself in one forgery case where the forgery is about power of attorney. On the said POA my address is shown incorrect where I never resided infact it's a different city.

now I would like to know the details pertaining to that address , as in who is/was the owner of the same. Is RTI a good tool for the same ?

if yes whom do I file it to? property in question is in Mumbai .

thanks
Sagar

As for identifying the address, you may try with PIO at the post office having jurisdiction. I do not know whether the Post Office is bound to give the information under RTO. Unofficially you can try to get it from the delivery postman. Courier services also may oblige you.
