Taxation on intra and delivery trades

I was student during 2009-2010 but I use to trade on exchange. Even if I think me the lucky person, I haven't made profit more then 10000.

Just for calculation:
Interest on bank deposits :5000
Earnings from stock exchange trades:10000 (intraday & delivery trades)
No other Income.

In this case, do I need to pay any tax?

Being a major n no other income, you are not liable to tax.

It means if the total income is in tax free amount slab then it does not attract any tax liability. Right?
