No, only the special court (appointed court of session) or the exclusive special court (established as per the provisions of section 14) are conferred with the power to grant bail under the sc/st act.

Can one get bail from the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act?

A person facing charges under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act cannot be granted anticipatory bail until it was proved that no case was made out against him and the allegations were false, the Supreme Court has held.

What about ordinary bail?

It will take 2 to 3 days time after filing bail petition in concerned court & and surity amount may be decided by the court itself for SC, ST Attrocities cases. After getting bail you have to produce Surities or you have to deposit the said amount by court order
