Police station jurisdiction

Am married since 2 years. My marriage is not consummated because of non cooperation from my wife. I have filed divorce. She is living in her parents home since 1 year. Now , after recieving the divorce notice, she has filed case of dowry harassment in her police station.my house ie matrimonial house is in different jurisdiction. My doubt is whether the case is investigated in the police station where her complaint is lodged or will it be transferred to my house police station jurisdiction?. Forum members please let me know.
