Article 32 of the Constitution grants an extensive original jurisdiction to the Supreme Court in regard to enforcement of Fundamental Rights. It is empowered to issue directions, orders or writs, including writs in the nature of habeas corpus, mandamus, prohibition, quo warranto and certiorari to enforce them.

do please see Article 32 of the Constitution of India and go through any good book on constitution.

However, for brevity, Writs can be filed in the SC only for violaiton of the Fundamental Rights as guaranteed in the Constitution of India

Against violation of fundamental rights one can directly approach the Supreme Court of India under Article 32. Otherwise the remedy is only under Article 226/227
