Illegal factory making noise in residential area

Hello, A factory for making iron frames, grills and structures has come up adjacent to our apartment compound wall. They make intolerable noise from 6:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m in the day as they cut and polish iron with machines and also beat metals throughout the day. It started small as a storehouse but now it is a full fledged factory. The noise is unbearable not only to the old, young and ill but also to a strong healthy adult. The owner of the factory is a real estate person who owns many plots in the area and has built and sold many apartments in the area, including ours. Under such circumstances, what options do we have to get this factory closed peacefully?
