Hi everyone I need an opinion whether is it possible to file a case for divorce against your husband while staying in the same house as he simply refuses for mutual settlement. The rwaon being not financially strong enough to fend for myself n my 9/yr old son. Waiting for replies soon. Regards.

You should have disclosed your identity, since the experts do not entertain query posted by an anonymous author.

Yes it can be filed. 

Even if you are filing a divorce petition as petitioner-in-person, you will have to seek help of some legal persona. It would be better to approach your District / State Legal Services Authority for providing FREE legal service, if you are unable to afford to engage a private lawyer.
