Domestic violence case withdrawn by hc lawyer at last hearingwithout client's approval

My Gujarat high court lawyer withdrew (disposed as never pressed) my Domestic Violence writ petition last week after extending it for almost 4 years on last hearing and we had 99.99 chance of quashing it. After inquiring with other lawyers, it seems that he never showed up except one or two dates. Took all fees money in advance. Appears that he got defected and betrayed us. My family and I have been living abroad and it was filed by brother's wife with whom we never lived except family occasions. We have never visited Country for last 11 years as well. Mu question is - Can I re-instate this case as it was never disposed?

First contact the advocate.  Simply putting this in public forum is of no use.  YOU need to know what exactly happened.

The lawyer had been less than professional. You can proceed against him.
