I have purchased a new flat in Banglore, near electronic city- phase I, directly from the Builder, the stamp duty on the same has already been paid. The date of agreement was 27th July, 2016. However, the registration of the same has still not been done. I want to know that what is the time limit permitted for the registration of the agreement, or whether there is any penalty, if any, on the lapse of the permitted time limit, and how much?
