Sick leave

If a worker keeps absent for 15 days, and then comes with the medical certificate of being sick. Then has the private limited company has the binding to grant him leave?

If an employee has submittd medical certificate from a competent medical practitioner then employer should accept it, otherwise it can be construed illogical.

If employer is not satisfied with medical certificate,it may state so.

If the leave is rejected it should be stated in writing.

Company should accept the medical certificate or ask for an enquiry with medical department. They will cross verify hospital register, medicine bills, case file and give report to the company. If they are finding out any kind of guilty from the doctor/hospital they will initiate appropriate legal actions against doc/hospital. Thank you.
