Hello,

I am not sure if this question should be posted in this forum but any inputs will be very helpful.

I wanted to know as to what should be given precedence

1. when there is a contradiction in oral submission made on oath during cross examination and written statementssubmitted in examination-in-chief.

2. when there is a contradiction in oral submission made on oath during cross examination and written statementssubmitted in examination-in-chief when the question is put on a law point.

Are there any sections to support that? If so, which section.
