Sincere thanks to both Sh. Laxmi Kant Joshi & Sh. Siddharth Bhagat.

Have quiet a few public cause RTIs. PIOs have done very very shoddy job in most of the cases. But, the causes are very important & I myself was in dilemma on what to do. With this, the RTIs will definitely be listed. Perhaps, specific questions will add value to deliberations & that would be a better way.

Let me record something that seeks attention. 3 competent RTIs have been posted on matters pertaining 'Pay Commission' with Ministry & 1 with the commission itself. The 1ST one was on the same day when the news appeared in the News Dailies. The Pay Commission has not answered even on fundamental querries, definitions that determine the task & it has been thrust. The decision is not at all democratic. If someone can challenge ....

RTI was conceived with multiple objectives. Prime amongst them are:

1. As a means to check corruption,

2. Usher in accountability, a

3. Awaken the sleeping gaint,

4. Effect desired changes.

But RTIs, emails are not working in actuality. The real masters have to take note of it & work up the means.

Sharing RTI querries/replies will hopefully help the cause & it is hoped other members too would share their cases/causes.

Thank you for the encouragement.

Homework show deliberations on RTIs & the Replies being published on the respective websites. Even DoPT has dealt on the issue. Sincerely feel getting that into practice is more relevant work.

(Selective queries & reply could be discussed by all of us on case to case basis).
