Is oral evidence mandatory in Maintainance case

My sister has filed a Maintainance case and she also filed a written affidavit, nor it has been posted for argument ... but the new judge says that the oral evidence is mandatory in Maintainance case ... if yes then whole process happened till now has to be reiterated again, it has already been 4 years ... kindly help me in this regard ... The oral evidence depends on who it is from and what it is portraying? you need to explain who will provide the oral evidence? I assume the same person is providing a written affidavit in support of this. KS Johal

Ok.... Oral evidence reduce in writing...in maintenance case 4 years omg and for divorce I think whole life.....send me private message if u need further assistance
