Birth registration without father name

Hi all, I was seperated from my husband since 10years, and now 2 months back my marriage was dissolved. I have a son who is 13years from my marriage. When i was living seperately, i was in a relationship since 6 years and now i am pregnant. I want this baby. Even though my present partner ready to give the name to baby, i want to register the baby under single mother category as we are not married. In this case, at hospital do we have to say that single mother?? Or this can be registered at the birth registration office. Kindly advise. Thanks and regards Srilakshmi
