Regarding election duty cancellation

Respected sir

I am a psu emlpoyee posted at west bengal. All seniours are requested to guide me how to cancel election duty. My marriage is held on 28 April 2016 and reception in 30 April 2016. West assembly election is in the April month. I was not aware about this , now it is not possible to extend the marriage date. so please guide me how to cancel the election duty.

hi you need to give application to you district election officer with you marriage date proof and request to cancel your election duty other you claim your medical certificate to get it

Prior to assembly elections India 2016, duties are aligned, though you can definitely check and as suggested can cancel your election duty because of your marriage date.
