Rectification deed - vendor demanding money

Hi. I purchased a land in the year 2003. I want to sell my property now. I recently realized that EAST and WEST boundries in the document are incorrect. I approached the VENDOR to execute a RECTIFICATION DEED. He is demanding money for the same (un-reasonable amount). Can I approach court to get him to execute recitification deed? Please suggest the approach.
