I bought a Panasonic 42" LED TV 3yrs ago for Rs.70k, Which is not working now. Panasonic on testing said the Main boardcis defective has to be replaced @ Rs.10k+ and will take 10days to get it. Agreed. The story starts now. Till after 2 months my TV not set right, reason spares not available. But my TV just 3yrs old and spares not available I started questioning them. Then they agreed to replace my TV in exchange at a depreciated cost and balance cost for the new TV paid by me. But the bomb shell they threw in was - the cost of my depreciated TV is just Rs.20k balance 50k to be paid by me to get equivalent But currentvTV model. So having failed to support their product for mandatory 10 years how are the justified in asking me to pay Rs.50k to get another TV. Is this a fit case for going to consumer Court.
