Vacation of Leased house

A  tenant  in  my  father's house   who  has  paid  an  advacne  of  two months  rent    is  not  coming  home  from last  one  month . He  has  locked  the   room.  We  are  receiving  enquiry  from  his  frient  and other  unidentified  person  who  are  for  his  look  out     to  get refund  / recovery  of  the money lent  to him.  These  people  approches  to  my  father  and  harrass  him  for  getting  the  whereabout  of the person.

He is  neither  reporting  to his  office. When contacted  at  his  residecen  and  relatives  , they  say  they  are  not  bothered  about  him  and you may take  any  action.

We had  not  executed  any  lease  agreement  with him .

What  legal action  we  can take  to get the  house  vacated as he  is  not  traceable  and we  do  not  want  to  provide  the  accomodation  for  lease  no  more  to  him ?

dear atul Kumar, you have to wait for two months as the rent advanced received by you and during the time you can lodge a complaint to the local police station narrating the whole story . kindly note before giving house on rent this is your liability to get the verification of the tenant through local police.

No  we have  not  issued  any  receipt  to  him  as  he  is  absconding  within  one week  of  occupying the  possession of  house.

Can  we  write a  registered  letter   warning  him  that  if  he  do  not  vacate  the  house , we  shall  report  to police.

To which address you will write! has he given any permanent address. May be you can insert a small public notice in the local news paper, in addition to the police complaint as suggested.
