REFUSE TO GIVE SALARY AFTER COMPLETION OF CONTRACT

Dear, I was relieved from ***consultancy which is working for *** company. Clause in offer letter: You should not work directly or indirectly at that project for one year. But the thing is consultancy's contract with ***company finished and I am in other project in the same company and also I signed for different project in the same company. I am out of the previous project and my contract also completed with consultancy. Now they are holding my salary saying you are working in same company. My query is are they correct?
