service tax on Quality assurance service

I wish to know whether Quality assurance service (logical testing of any software to validate its quality) is taxable as per Service tax.

The services are taxable under recently added Information Technology services vide this year budget. The tax will be leviable after the finance bill receives accent of the President of India.
