Ancestral vs self acquired

Property that can be ancestral is property inherited by a male hindu from any of his three immediate paternal ancestors I.e his father, father's father, father's father father.All property which a man inherits from a direct male ancestor not exceeding three degrees higher than himself is ancestral property and is at once held by himself in coparcenary with its own male issue. Does it mean any property inherited from father or grandfather becomes coparcenary or ancestral.
