Request to guide me for below.
1) what is validity of depositing the cheque in bank?
2) whether it was six month or 180 days from issue date of cheque?
3) whether cheque must be presented in drawer or drawee bank within validity of six month or 180 days...
i request to reply me if possible with any judgement of highcourt or supreme court.

Hi,
My friend, there was a rule earlier about the limitation of period to deposit the cheque in the bank within the period of 6 months from the date of issue. But now the rule has been changes,, now it's 3 months. The validity of the cheque is 3 months from the date of cheque issued.
