Police refused and ignored to register criminal complaint.

Hi, my inlaws have taken my signatures on a divorce agreement after kidnapping me and my family in a locked house. After doing so, they have filed a case of 498A against me and my whole family. We have secured bail from the court. Immediately, we have given the same complaint in the local police station, but they didnt took it any seriously and that complaint was completely ignored. Copy of the complaint was sent to all the senior authorities of the district police administration but it was of no use. Police have submitted the charhesheet in the local court but the case have not yet started. This all matter have happened in March 2015. Will my written complaint be ever taken into consideration? How do i move against police for favoring my inlaws with whom they have made up a fake case against us. Kindly advise, as to how do i legally pull the police into this case? Written complaint copy was sent to SP, Addl SP, SDPO, DIG & Home Minister.

Can U prove that U and UR family have been kidnapped with valid evidence? I don't think so,hence a kidnap complaint given after UR wife launched 498A has no significance, that's why it was sidlined by the police.

While we were locked up in their house, i have made a phone call to the local police stn for help but they just refused. These calls were are reflecting in my mobile statements. After taking my signatures on divorce agreement, they all came to an extent of beating me and my family. But we somehow escaped from there. Same time, they filed the FIR immed. Even my family went to police same time, but they didnt took any of our complaint. It was obvious that police was working in hand with them. What all possible evidence can be looked up apart from my mobile statement that i called up police stn landline number multiple times when we were in captive. Police have filed 498a n other charges but in-laws have not filed for divorce yet. Chargesheet is submitted.

Sir, it seems that you need to knock the doors of the court now. The copurt is empowered to direct an investiogation under section 156(3).

Approach a good lawyer.
