Hindu succession act 2005 sec. 6

Hindu Succession(Amendment Act) Act 2005- Se: 6-Object-The object of section of the Act of 2005, is to render social justice to women and to avoid the discrimination as reflected in sec.6 of the Act of 1956-The object is to give equal rights to daughter inb Hindu Mitakshara C0-Parcenary Property-By amendment the Parliament removed inequality between a son and a daughter, a discrimination on the ground of ender, nearly 50 years after the consitution came to froce-Thus the funamental rights of equality guaranteed by constitution is restored and a historical wrong has been rectified.
