Agreement in orissa

Dear Sir,

Can someone tell me if there is any specific clause or agreement for rent out

a flat in Bhubaneswar,Orissa

like ther 11 leave n licence agreement in Maharastra.

When owner is away from his house and leting out a tenant, it is always proper to have a valid agreement to avoid problems in future. (Whether it is in Maharashtra, Orissa or Kerala)

There can be a rental agreement in writing entered into between the landlord and the tenant but for shorter period say les than 12 months, it need not be registered asper the Orissa House rent control act, 1967. However beyond 12 months registration is mandatory
