pvt ltd company forcing an employee to sign for his resignat

Company head asking to sign on a paper to resign orally without serving notice .on sep 12 2007 I joined the company as liaison officer at trivandrum

Private business has right to hire and discharge employees . if the employee is covered under any labor law, then due process of disciplinary action/perfromance appraisal has to be carried , giving a chance to employee to represent his/her case and then committee can always advise terminating job.

Even government department can discharge employees on accoutn of false disclosures, any police record not disclosed, getting arrestd for 24 hrs or more, indicipline, corruption, inefficiency, misbehaviour or tempering with government records/property and even complaint form custoemrs /citizens

Only thing is due to politics in India, this is not done and we can see result. Corrupted and non fucntional bureaucracy.

if you fight with them you will get dismissed and thatwill always go against you to get references and furtherjob. It may affect your career prospects.

But if you feel there is some discrmination on ground of caste or gender then you can take up your cause.

WEhave seen that normally compnaies managed by lala type guys do this to save notice period salary and to avoid bad message to other employees..
