Child name after parents divorce! reply asap

My parents got divorced when I was 3 . My custody was handed over to my mother . And the court ordered that I should meet my father only once in 6 months and it also stated that my mom isn't eligible to ask for alimony in future (which she stated during divorce) . Now all my documents have my MOTHERS surname , this includes SSC , Aadhar , PAN etc . We did not give any kind of newspaper ads or anything else . Now my SSC certificate had small mistake . When I went there they are arguing that the child can have ONLY FATHERS surname . Is this true ? I'm feeling terrified . All my documents have moms surname . Is it legal . If so how can I remain with my moms name legally . Thanks in advance . My life is falling apart please help me ! I'd be grateful

P.S I'm 16
