Can i cancel a disbursed home loan for a property i dont buy

Hi..I was about to buy a property so transferred the loan from seller to my name.But before registration we found that they are trying to sell land without patta which we were not aware of.so we called off the registration.now the seller is ready to transfer his loan back to his name.but as their loan is closed it is feasible?? I dont have that much money to close the loan.i didnt buy the house but loan for that house is in my nname.please help

Hope you have heard of 'Buyer Beware'.

You should have sought legal opinion from an able lawyer before proceeding with sale.

All depends upon Bank now.

Otherwise you may close the loan in your name with interest upto date and pre payment penalty if applicable.

Te seller should agree to bear the cost or you can pursue the legal remedy........................if you want.
