I had given some money to a friend on the basis of getting high interest on my capital.I had mentioned amount and date in email.he also mailed me back with when he is going to return along with return.There is no other legal document between us.If he refuses to give back my money can I claim in any way?

In eye of law comunications through electronic media are valid and admissible in evidence.you can file suit on basis of EMails.

Thank you a lott..but I just got to know that if he (the borrower) asks for some time more than the prescribed time he can take at most 3 years more than the prescribed time.Is it true?The person in question has said me that he will return with interest in 10-12 months time.
