Listing of other registered on our website

An X co. wants to build a website/ app which provide real time data about the hotels, restaurant or cafe in the vicinity of the persons location.
My question is whether if X co wants to list the name of hotels or any such thing on their website/ app for third party use do the X co will have to take kind of any permission from the respective owners.
If yes is there any legal doc for the same.

No. There is no such requirement. On the contrary, you may collect subscripttion from the units to highlight their establishment on your website.

Better take written permission, as most of the websites are copyrighted and also listing someones website for commercial use without his/her permission is not advised.
