The Cheque/DD should be in favour of "Registrar, Trade Marks Registry"

Registrar, Trade Marks Registry payable at chennai  am i right ?

Yes, if you are filing the application at Chennai...............

Mr.Navin Arya is right.  You may raise a Demand draft in favour of the Registrar within whose jurisdiction the application is being filed. If the application is being filed in Chennai, youmay raise a DD favouring "The Registrar of Trade Marks, Chennai".

I agree with Vedaa

Payment would be whatever, it shall be in favour of Registrar of Trade Mark Registry as per jurisdiction.

I meant Payment mode

Yeah as mentioned above it should be payable at the respective location in whose jurisdiction you fall. If you are applying ofr trademark registration in Mumbai, the DD/PO should be payable at Mumbai.

The best method is to pay by draft in favour of Registrar of trademarks. If the application etc is to be filed in say chennai you can  make  the draft payable at chennai as this would enable quick clearance of the draft. In no case make payment by poatal order as the trade marks registry has stopped accepting this.

Now, the Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favour of "Registrar of Trade Marks"
