the one year is stipulated only for the couple who married recently and if want MCD or Divorce then they should wait for one year and you have not mentioned how many years your married life was for accurate answer this answer is required
and some cases are there where divorce case are converted to MCD and court had striked the 6 months period and granted them MCD by seeing their waitage period in contested divorce petition
