Hi all
I am one of the members of our flat association and take care of the Maintenance division. one of the owner Mr. X gave the flat to a tenant Mr.Y.
Initially Mr.Y was paying the maintenance charge. but for the past 7 months he is not paying. We do not have a permanent water supply and every time we have to purchase it as tankers to fill the tank. Even the owner has told that the tenant is not paying rent and EB Bills. and shortly he is going to file an eviction suit. I have received a copy of his notice to the tenant as well.
Can i know since we buy water can we stop water supply to his apartment alone. or can we ask the owner to pay us.
Can we complaint it in police as well. We are in Maharastra so what laws can we use to make him pay.
Pls help.
