Daughters rights

Respected Madams / Sirs

I am a catholic married lady, my father has inherited a flat and it is on his name. My brother lives with him. My father has my brother as the only nominee for the flat since 2010. The conveyance is not done of the building, my brother says my father cannot make his will because the conveyance of the building is not done. My father is not in a stand to make a will since 2009. He has also given my brother the power of attorney since 2007 to attend the day to day matters because of his old age. The housing society told me verbally this year that they have passed the new nomination form which was given by my brother to them in 2010. That after my fathers death the flat will be owned by my brother and i have no share in it. Before my father had my brother and me as equal shares. There is no dispute of any kind between me and my father.

my questions are:-

1) Being a daughter do i have a equal legal right to the inheritance of my father?

2) Can the society transfer the flat to my brother as a legal owner?

3) What if my brother is lying and has made a will in his favor?

4) Does a nomination form act as a will or is it equal to a will?

Please help me what are the solutions, Any other solutions are welcomed.

Thanking You.
