Can prosecution evidence be brought at later stage?

Dear law experts,

In case of a private complaint of 406, summons have been issued to accused. The prosecution has not submitted any documentary evidence so far with court and none of it has surfaced during inquiry phase. Now, can the prosecution bring up new evidence during the trial (after issuing of summons and grant of bail to accussed)? Is there any limitation as to how and when new evidence be brought?

Dear

Yes , surely,

it is only the summoning stage when accused is summoned to stand trial for the offence against him.

The entire evidence is produced in court after summoning stage so certainly the offence shall be placed before the court.
