Dear Members,

This is Ganesh Kumar 24 Years of old from Tamilnadu Chennai

I lost both my parents in an accident when i am just 2 years of old

my mother's father passed away before i born

my mother have 2 brother and 2 sister and  a mother at present

my mother's father (my Grand father) has lot of property in chennai in his name

when my grandfather is no more

and more over my mother is also died

so they just share all those property into 5 shares

the share holders are (my mother's mother, two brother's & two sister's)

so when i complete 18 years i approached all other share holders

they simply replied there is no share & rights in the property

when i approached advocate he simply asking all the property survey number to file a case

Please suggest  how to file a case

is there is share for me

how to get survey number but the thing is i am only having all the property address only

first of all you have to approach the Local sub-registrar office and make a search for the properties belonged to your grand father and then take a duplicate copy of the documents related to the properties and then you have sent a legal notice through a legal counsel establishing your right and share in the properties and if they they did not comply the demand, then you have to file a partition suit.
